Chickpea Flatbread

Chickpea flatbread is so versatile.  Easy to make.  Super affordable.  Using besan (chickpea flour), water and olive oil.  You can have it plain, topped with lots of salad and vegetables, drizzled with olive oil and your favourite spices.  This is a gluten free, grain free, nut free, dairy free, egg free and yeast free flatbread.  Phew!  With a terrific mild flavour.  I love to make the batter the night before.  Check out the Chickpea Flatbread Pizza video for more ideas on how to make this versatile gluten free bread.

Love a good pizza.  This is a wonderfully simple gluten free, grain free, dairy free (unless you add cheese), egg free pizza base.  Made with simple ingredients – besan, water and olive oil.  You can top this with any leftovers you have in the fridge.  I love to top it with grated cheese – remember to read the ingredients on the bag if you buy pre-grated cheese) and love!
